Why KREHOUD? The Story Behind the Last Pan You'll Ever Buy
Most frying pans are designed to fail. We built ours to be the exception.
If you've ever owned a non-stick pan, you know the story. The first month is magic — eggs slide, nothing sticks, cleanup is a rinse. Then, slowly, it starts to change. Scratches appear where the spatula touches. Food begins to catch in the center. The coating, once glossy, looks tired.
Within two or three years, most coated pans are done: the coating breaks down under high heat, can release harmful chemicals, and eventually peels — forcing you straight back into the endless cycle of replacement.
KREHOUD was founded to end that cycle.
Meet KREHOUD: tradition and innovation in one pan
KREHOUD is a premium cookware brand built around a single, stubborn idea: a pan you buy once — "The Last Pan You'll Ever Buy."
Instead of layering a chemical coating over cheap aluminum, KREHOUD takes a different path. Every frying pan is a three-layer composite of titanium, aluminum, and steel, rolled into a single 2 mm piece — and finished with a solid titanium cooking surface. No coating. No compromise. Just pure material, engineered to last.
The three-layer composite, explained
The secret to KREHOUD's performance is in the construction — three metals, each doing what it does best:
| Layer | Material | Why it's there |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Cooking surface | TA1 pure titanium (0.4 mm) | Healthy, corrosion-resistant, and built to last — nothing sprayed on top |
| 2. Core | 1050 aluminum (1 mm) | Excellent heat conductivity — even heat distribution that prevents burning |
| 3. Base | 430 stainless steel (0.6 mm) | Works on both gas and magnetic induction cooktops, reducing cooking limitations |
Why not pure titanium? Because pure titanium cookware conducts heat poorly, heats slowly and unevenly, and can't be used on induction cooktops. The titanium-aluminum-steel composite gives you the health benefits of titanium with the responsiveness of aluminum — fast heating, even cooking, and lower energy use.
Zero coating means zero compromise
Most "non-stick" pans rely on a chemical surface layer. KREHOUD's don't. There is no PFAS, no PFOA, no PTFE, and no synthetic non-stick coating anywhere in the pan.
Instead, the non-stick performance is physical, not chemical. The interior's textured surface creates microscopic gaps between food and the pan; when you cook, the oil film shrinks to form a thin protective layer. The result is natural food release that can't scratch off, peel away, or degrade — because there's nothing to wear down.
That means:
- No forever chemicals — nothing leaches into your food
- A surface that gets better with use — just a short break-in period for new pans
- Pure flavor — zero chemical transfer, just the taste of what you're cooking
Performance that keeps up with real cooking
A pan without a coating doesn't have to baby its surface — and KREHOUD takes full advantage:
- High-heat stable up to 550°F / 287°C — searing, stir-frying, and serious heat without breaking down
- Even heat, edge to edge — the multi-layer core reduces hot spots, so the edges cook like the center
- Every cooktop, every setting — gas, induction, oven, even campfire-ready
- Zero maintenance — fully dishwasher safe and fine with metal utensils
- Certified safe — TUV-certified and meeting FDA food-safety standards
KREHOUD vs. traditional non-stick
| KREHOUD tri-ply titanium | Other brands | |
|---|---|---|
| Versatility | Gas, induction, oven & campfire ready | Stovetop only — no oven or grill |
| Maintenance | Extremely durable — zero maintenance | No metal utensils, hand-wash only |
| Taste & purity | Pure flavor — zero chemical transfer | Coating leaches into your food |
| Heat response | Instant, precise heat control | Slow, uneven heating |
| Dishwasher | Fully dishwasher safe | Dishwasher destroys coating |
| Long-term value | Pays for itself within 2 years | Replace every 1–2 years |
Caring for your titanium pan
Switching from a coated pan to titanium feels different — because it is. There's no chemical coating to protect, and the non-stick performance comes from the surface itself. A quick read of the care basics (including the short break-in period, and why the surface may develop a golden or rainbow sheen — that's natural titanium oxidation, not a defect) will keep your pan performing for years. The last pan you'll ever buy
Here's the honest math: a coated non-stick pan costs you money every couple of years — plus the scratches, the uneven cooking, and the creeping doubt about what's in your food.
KREHOUD flips the equation. A titanium frying pan with a solid titanium surface, engineered to be maintained with zero effort and to outlast the habits that wear out ordinary pans.
No coatings to chip. No chemicals to worry about. No cycle of replacement.
Just one pan, built to be your last.
